Our latest Peak District Yoga Hikes break over the August Bank Holiday break in a fantastic location with stunning views. Our base was the stunning Cattle Shed near Grindleford in the heart of the Peaks.

It was a fantastic group who all fully participated in two yoga classes each day and a glorious hike through the Peak District countryside. We also included a varied and healthy breakfast and dinner. Then a wide variety of fillings and options for a packed lunch was put out each day to make sure everyone was fully fuelled up for the whole weekend.

Our weekend started with Yoga at 6pm on the Friday evening after arrival. Our first class of the weekend, was chance for Yen to introduce the classes and start off with some relaxing poses.

Then we tucked into our first meal of the weekend freshly prepared by Kevin & Yen.

On Saturday and Sunday we started each day with yoga at 7:30, followed then by a tasty and healthy breakfast before pulling on boots and preparing for the hike.

The Hikes each day were led by Richard Wiles of Going the Extra Mile. A local Mountain leader with a fantastic knowledge of the local hills and countryside.

We had two glorious days of hiking up to the viewpoints of Higger Tor and White Edge. Our hikes also led us through stunning woodland and pretty villages. With a bit of impromptu posing on the way!

Then Saturday night we had a cosy fireside chat whilst watching the stars in a glorious clear sky.
Then Monday morning we had our final yoga class. Our final hike was a shorter walk following the river Derwent, before heading off around 1pm.

The Cattle Shed really was the perfect location for a fantastic weekend of Yoga and Hiking over the Bank Holiday. We will definitely be back so check out our future schedule for our next dates.
