Brathay Hall Yoga Hikes – Yoga Classes
We have our own dedicated yoga room on the ground floor of the Theatre block just 50 yards from the main Hall across the gardens. This is not our usual room, but it allows us more space, so we can socially distance during our Yoga Classes. We offer a yoga class on Friday evening, and then two yoga classes each day and we will explore the stunning Lake District scenery in between. There will be a single group yoga class at each session open to all abilities from beginner/improver to those who practice regularly.
Sessions will take place on Friday evening and before breakfast and after we return from our walks on Saturday and Sunday. The general focus of the morning sessions will be to energise and warm up the body for our walk, and in the evening, will be to stretch out those tired muscles and relax the body.
We have a fantastic choice of walks available directly from the Brathay Hall. On each day, we will be leading a moderate group hike of around 8 to 10 miles.
Your hosts, Kevin and Yen both live in the Lake District, know the area well and have walked extensively here.
All meals are included in the cost of the weekend. Saturday and Sunday breakfast, plus Friday and Saturday dinner will be provided by the Hall. Packed lunches on Saturday and Sunday will be provided by us.
Breakfasts will need to be ordered in advance, will be individually served and are good quality with a good range of choices.
Dinners will be a two course meal that is served to the table – you can select whether you would like a vegetarian or non-vegetarian choice upon booking
All meals are taken in the Hall dining room.
If anyone has any dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking.
It has become a popular feature of our breaks to offer large quantities of tea and home-made cake at the end of a walk.
