Our July 2020 Rydal Hall Yoga Hiking Weekend is based at the very grand and historic Rydal Hall. We are just a few minutes walk from Rydal Water, Rydal Mount (Wordsworth’s home) and the picturesque church where William Wordsworth was church warden. There will also be five yoga classes over the weekend, tailored to ability : either improver/gentler or intermediate for those with some more yoga experience. There is also a choice of either a moderate hike or more strenuous hike each day.
Join us for a cosy mid winter yoga hiking break at the beautiful Brathay Hall surrounded by the stunning Lake District countryside. This is such a great time to visit the Lakes and shake off those mid winter blues. The impressive Brathay Hall is set in 360 acres of mature woodland and rolling pasture, at the head of Windermere.
For this yoga and hiking weekend, we will be based at the historic Rydal Hall, which is beautifully situated in the small village of Rydal, close to the lake and between Grasmere and Ambleside. Rydal has one of the smallest lakes in the lake district, but is in a picturesque and unspoilt corner of the Lakes, offering ample opportunities for walking.
The spectacular location for our North Lakes Yoga Hiking break is the privately owned Glaramara Hotel. The location of the house is particularly striking with commanding views of the Borrowdale Fells. It is the ideal base for a yoga and hiking break with easy access to some of the best hiking routes in the Lake District.
